Senior, Julia Robinson, is the Southview High School Musician of the Week. Julia has been an involved and talented member of the Southview Band for 4 years. Julia has demonstrated leadership and great musicianship throughout her time at Southview. Along with being Drum Major of the Southview Marching Band, she was also Vice President of Tri-M Music Honors Society last year. Julia has been a member of Toledo Symphony Youth Orchestra for the past three years, and was placed as second chair in the Philharmonic Orchestra this year (though rehearsals have been cancelled indefinitely due to COVID). She has performed successfully in the Bowling Green University Honors Festival as has been a member of the OMEA District One Honors Band for the past two years. She has also attended Blue Lake Fine Arts camp for the past three summers. In 2019, she was a member of the Blue Lake International Northern Winds where she embarked on a month long tour of Europe, staying with host families and performing free concerts in Germany, The Netherlands, and Poland. Apart from music, she is the Captain of the Southview Quiz Bowl Team, a member of NHS, a competitor in Speech and Debate, involved in theatre, and on the golf team. In college, she plans to major in economics on a pre-law track. Julia is the daughter of Steven and Kathryn Robinson.
