The Cougar Musician of the Week is junior Nathaniel Potter who is the cello section of the tthe 6th grade orchestra at Timberstone. He currently studies with Mr. Yang Kun Song. Nat has performed with many honor groups, including the OMEA Honors Orchestra and Northwest Regional Orchestra. He is also an active member of the Greater Toledo International Youth Orchestra and has served as both President and Vice President of that organization. In addition, Nat is a member of the Tri-M Music Honor Society and has also composed three pieces for a film in Orlando, Florida. Director Megan Fitzpatrick says that, “Nat pours his heart into his music and it shows. He is not only very talented, he is an exceptional example of the kind and welcoming people that make up our orchestra family.” Outside of orchestra, Nat enjoys cooking, learning Chinese, and makeup. He also currently carries a 4.0. Congrats Nat!
